Getting the 2008 Act Together

I finally got around to doing a basic update for the website. First and foremost, certainly, was adding this WordPress blog to the site for current news. This will get added to much more often than the over-all website.

Travel adventures, convention experiences and pictures, whatever else that strikes my fancy that isn’t specific to the things covered on my blogs. (And hey! check them out as well! The “Blogs” button will take you to an index of the blogs and what they cover.)

I’m hoping in the near future to add a store (probably with Zazzle) that will feature some of my own artwork for the images.

I’m also planning to change my current message board for one from Phorum. I’ll be making that change, because I’ll be adding another domain shortly.

About that… after spending a lot of time trying to interest publishers in my book on mythic motifs for writers, called The Scribbler’s Guide to the Land of Myth, I’ve decided to go with a print-on-demand option. I’ll be soon taking the new domain active, to promote the book. There will be a separate forum on the new messageboard for matters connected with that.

All in all, I’m planning on getting this website more active this year than it was last year. I hope you will all find plenty to interest you.

About Sarah Beach

Now residing in Las Vegas, I was born in Michigan and moved to Texas when 16. After getting my Masters degree in English, I moved to Hollywood, because of the high demand for Medievalists (NOT!). As a freelance writer and editor, I find that Nevada offers better conditions for the wallet. I love writing all sorts of things, and occasionally also create some artwork.
