The Wizard World Los Angeles comic convention for 2007 was held at the Los Angeles Comvention Center (previous ones had been at the Long Beach Convention Center).
Among the various activities at this convention, elaborated on in the full report PDF, were encounters with DC Comics Editor in Chief Dan DiDio, and noted comic book writer Marv Wolfman. Also my friends from Golden Apple Comics had plenty going on.

Also of note at the convention was my first encounter with Marcus Perry’s original short Razor Sharp. I became a big fan immediately.
